Concept
Wide breath of experience in hardware and software design. Can take concepts from ideas to prototypes. Here is an example for a prototype scanner system requested by a medical supply manufacture. From first phone call to deployment prototypes being shipped took just under 3 weeks.
Physical Design
After a preliminary specification and design is chosen, a 3D mock-up is done in CAD software.
Machining
Next tool paths are generated from the 3D design using CAM software. The tool paths are then sent to a machine for cutting.
Electronics
For this initial design, off the shelf components were solder on breadboards and packed into the case. Later designs use a custom surface mount board.
Software
Embedded software for the device was written to decode RFID tags then uploaded the information over the network to a cloud database.
Cloud
Information is stored in a cloud database where a web UI can be used to access the data/analytics.
